Good morning, everyone! Today is a very special day for my oldest son and I. He was diagnosed with Aspberger's, which will become part of the Austism Spectrum next year. He is AMAZING and wonderful, but each day is a series of struggles. The worst right now is dealing with his teachers and administrators at the school. They are quite obviously unaware of how to deal with spectrum disorders, and the more knowledge we can get out there, the better! We are all wearing blue today, in honor of my kiddo and all the other spectrum kiddos out there!!!!

ReplyDeleteAw! Thank you my darling!!!! Awareness is a HUGE step! Our biggest hurdle right now is dealing with educators that don't know how to work with him. It's soooooo hard and very frustrating, and there are days his father and I just want to punch our heads through a wall! Education baby!!
